In this video i d like to show you how to drill easy in ceramic tiles using proper tile drill bit. Don t waste time or money on a cheap core bit. The easiest and neatest method is to buy a 1 1 4 in. Draw the hole outline on the tile with a felt tip pen or grease pencil.

It has carbide grit embedded in the rim that allows it to cut into vitreous tile. You won t need a starter hole because the tape will hold the drill bit in place. Two for each shower head two for each tub spout one for a handheld shower spray two each for any water supply lines coming up from a tile floor. Also the tape keeps the ceramic piece together.

Drilling holes in wall tiles is a fairly easy skill to master once you know how. Between 6 10 holes need to be drilled in tile. Ceramic tile hole saw from about 10 for individual bits to about 50 for kits. Draw the hole outline on the masking tape.

Put a wide piece of masking tape over the area first. Then take a hammer and very lightly tap the tile along the ring of holes.
