For faux stone patterns like marble and granite as i understand it they take a photo of an actual slab and that is what they use for the laminate so no worries about pattern repeats. We used formica fx not the marble pattern though and yes its more pricey than some but i do like it. Formica offers a number of styles that resemble marble and they also offer several options for decorative edges.

But in person the countertops are a very affordable way to get a nice clean light look no they are not marble but they are pretty. I had white formica countertops in a house built in the 90s and it did seem rather easily period the stains number stayed there necessarily but they were there for a little while at least before they faded. We hope to use it in our kitchen sometime soon. Its been almost 3 yrs now not a scratch or chip in it.

Yes these are formica calacatta marble. I guess i thought they would have been proved done such a thing if they re going to make it look like marble going through all that. The formica photos i think do not do their own product justice they are too cold. The last house i lived in a rental had a marble look alike formica counters.

Marble countertops can be extremely pricey but laminate can give you the look without blowing your budget. I discovered that formica had these granite marble look alike counters a year ago and my husband and i fell in love with it.
