If dust or other debris has accumulated a bit on your countertop or floor dilute a gentle dish soap in a little warm water and use a soft cloth to clean your marble surfaces.

Buff dry with a cotton cloth or chamois. You do not want to scrub because that can damage the surface. Use a natural light soap or marble cleaner for deeper cleaning. Hence in order to enhance the durability of your marble it is vital to use a marble cleaner instead of normal water.

The only cleaning agents you should use on a regular basis are hot water and a specially formulated marble cleaner.
