Marbled crays live to be about 3 years old. Breeding marbled crayfish is super easy because they do not even have to mate. They will be shipped off do be fishfood soon and this is the temporary tank they got in their final wait. Marbled crayfish are triploid animals which may be the main reason for their parthenogenetic reproduction.

They can also co habitate peacefully with aquarium shrimp and community fish. Thumbs up for cray babies. Marbled crayfish are the only known decapod crustaceans to reproduce only by parthenogenesis.
